ACETYLENOL™ Series
The ACETYLENOL™ series is an acetylenic nonionic surfactant obtained by adding ethylene oxide to acetylene glycol (2,4,7,9-tetramethyl-5-decyne-4,7-diol). By varying the mole unit of ethylene oxide from 1 mol to 20 mol, different end product of ACETYLENOL™ series can be synthesized for various purpose.

Characteristics of ACETYLENOL
ACETYLENOL™ series are tertiary alcohols consisting of one acetylene bond and ether bond of polyethylene glycol. Below are the characteristics derived from its molecular structure:
Extremely low foaming.
Excellent anti-foaming performance.
Excellent penetrating power which is expect to improve wettability.
Excellent leveling performance (smoothness).
Excellent chemical resistance, stable in strong alkaline solution.
Good compatibility with various solvents.
It is stable to temperature and ultraviolet rays and does not attack metal.
Synergistic effect with various surfactants is expected.
ACETYLENOL Application
The excellent characteristics of ACETYLENOL™ series is used in a wide range of application such as paints, inks, surface cleaning, metal surface treatment, fiber treatment, paper manufacturing industry, electronic materials, agricultural chemicals etc.
